NMIF annually hosts The Night of Heroes where exemplary intelligence professionals are recognized for their incredible contributions to national security and scholarships are presented to outstanding individuals studying for careers supporting our national security.
NMIF and the U.S Intelligence Community (IC) collaborate to honor the selected awardees. This formal event brings together outstanding performers across the IC with senior military and government leaders as well as members of industry, academia and supporters of our nation’s national security. Awardees are individuals selected by their own military service or IC agency leadership and consist of civilian government employees and members of the armed forces assigned to active, reserve, and national guard components. The narratives associated with each awardee are compelling, inspiring and highlight the tremendous contribution these individuals made towards the safety and security of our nation and often the lives saved as a direct result of their actions.
