Cancer Support Community Arizona uplifts and strengthens people impacted by cancer by providing support, fostering compassionate communities, and breaking down barriers to care.

We provide emotional and social support for anyone impacted by cancer by offering more than 100 programs per month that include support groups, social activities, mind/body therapies, nutritional counseling and educational seminars.  All programs are offered free of charge  and designed to support cancer patients, their families and caregivers throughout their cancer journey.

Our vision is that everyone impacted by cancer receives the support they want and need throughout their experience.

In March of 1999, Cancer Support Community Arizona (CSCAZ) opened its doors to cancer patients and their loved ones. At the heart of our mission is the belief that a nurturing environment plays a crucial role in the healing and support process. CSCAZ is that place.

Our home, a historic house dating back to 1908 on Palm Lane in downtown Phoenix, stands as a testament to compassion and strength in the face of cancer. Named in honor of Ina Levine, a woman who exemplified caring for others and finding inner resilience, this charming house provides a unique refuge distinct from the clinical settings we often associate with cancer treatment.

Our one-acre facility is designed to cater to the physical and emotional needs of our community. It features a 3,000-square-foot historic home for program meetings and administrative offices, a 1,600-square-foot garage transformed into group meeting rooms and a conference facility known as “The Pavilion,” and a separate 2,200-square-foot Teen and Family Center.

Our property is adorned with lush, mature landscaping, including Greta’s Garden, a serene space named in honor of Greta Shipman, one of CSCAZ’s founders. As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a picturesque circular driveway lined with palm trees, setting the tone for a warm and inviting experience.

At CSCAZ, we’re more than just a building; we’re a community that embodies compassion, resilience, and unwavering support.
