How do I participate?
There are three ways to rappel at this event:
1. Sign up as an individual and begin raising $1,000 (or more) for KC Fringe. Then you can experience the thrill of rappelling 10 stories down the side of The Netherland!
2. The Dynamic Duo. For those who need a bit of emotional support hanging off a building, enroll and participate with a friend and you BOTH can rappel together, with a discounted fundraising goal of $1,750!
3. Toss the Boss. Have you ever wanted to throw your boss off a building? Now you can! If your organization can raise $2500, your boss will rappel 10 stories down the side of The Netherland. Be careful, though! If you don't make your collective goal, your boss will choose who gets to be the lucky one to rappel!

ABOUT KC Fringe
KC Fringe Festival is the largest celebration of arts and culture in the Kansas City metropolitan area. It is a two-week explosion of performances, visual arts exhibits and events that showcase the work of local, national and international artists at more than 20 venues around town. This dynamic organization has been supporting artists, cultivating creators and attracting adventurous audiences since July 2005.
KC Fringe Festival returns LIVE, July 15-31, 2022. Funds raised through Over the Edge will help the festival to unfold it all its glorious fringy-ness (after two years of virtual Fringes) at 10 venues around town. It will again provide Kansas Citians with up-close-and-personal experiences with artists who are creating—and experimenting with—theater, dance, film, music and visual arts.

Registration Information
How you register will depend on how you choose to participate:
- Fundraising and rappelling by yourself: Click Register as an individual and follow the registration flow. You will keep the $1000 recommended goal, pay a $50 registration fee and sign Over-the-Edge's external waiver. At the end, you will have your very own campaign page to customize and share out with your friends and family to hit your goal of $1000 in order to Go Over the Edge!
- Dynamic Duo (rappel with a friend): Click Create a team to start your Dynamic Duo's team, or Join a team if the other member of your intrepid pair has already created your team. A drop-down list will appear for you to choose the appropriate team. The two of you must each pay the $50 registration fee and sign the waiver! Your collective goal is $1750 in order to rappel, and you can decide between the two of you what your individual goals will be (for example, will you split it evenly, or will another aim high?). *Please note - you team's goal will reflect the sum of the individual goals you set for yourselves. It does not matter who fundraises what - as long as collectively you raise $1750, you're both rappelling!
- Toss the boss: Click REGISTER AS AN INDIVIDUAL. This is because only one(1) person will be rappelling. Change your goal to $2500. Enter the information of the boss to be tossed! Don't worry... if you don't hit your goal and another colleague is nominated, this information can be changed. Everyone can still help you fundraise, though! Once you've created your campaign, click "Team" in the sidebar menu of your campaign. When you invite a team member, make sure to check off "Bypass Registration".
