Over The Edge is a unique and thrilling way for you and your company, friends, or family to support Scouting. If you crave adventure and want to help support local Scouting in Central Iowa, then Over The Edge is for you!
Please join the Mid-Iowa Council, BSA on July 12, 2024, when participants will be given the opportunity to rappel down Wells Fargo Arena's six-story building in downtown Des Moines overlooking the Des Moines River.
Participants commit to raising a minimum of $500 by July 10, 2024, to join us on this adventure. Invite your friends, family, and coworkers to help you raise the funds to go OVER THE EDGE! Money raised will go towards supporting Scouting in our 27 counties.
Funding will support Scouting programs in the 27 counties served by Mid-Iowa Council. Scouting programs provide youth with a strong foundation, teaching them to be strong leaders, better citizens, and to make ethical choices. The importance of them knowing they can do their personal best to achieve their full potential, while honoring life-long values and strong character foundation is paramount. Proceeds also help ensure a Scout has a uniform and can attend camp.
