I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2020. Tandem stem cell transplants, consolidation treatments, and maintenance has left me with a weakened immune system, and turned my life upside down. I miss the old me. Prior to my diagnosis, I was a Captain (Fire Department) and enjoyed an active lifestyle. This event has the benefit of raising funds towards my cancer, but also giving me a chance to have a glimpse of my old life. There are so many exciting new treatments being developed to improve/extend our lives, but funds are always needed. Please consider donating if you can. Thank you.
