The Veterans Forward program has become a foundational resource to the military community in Maine.  With the resources we generate through donors and government agencies, we have been able to assist veterans, service members and their families through financial assistance to help with emergency situations. We also provide case management, housing and employment assistance and work with partner organizations for mental health, substance use and other critical services.  We fill gaps with the goal to keeping those we serve and their families, housed, employed and thriving.  

• 90% of donations go directly to those we serve for help with housing, vehicle repairs, utility bills, legal assistance and other needs.
• Since January 2022, we have helped over 200 veterans representing every county in Maine.
• 100% of our  Veterans Forward employees are veterans who are living and raising their families in Maine. 
• The Veterans Forward Board of Directors is made up of people who are committed to making sure our heroes have the services and benefits that they deserve.
