In 1959, a group of families living in Midland, TX were searching for hope and solutions for their children with special needs.  Those families eventually formed a support group, which developed into what is now known in our community as “MARC.” Initially, MARC began as a small school for children with disabilities and has since grown to provide a wide array of programs and support for over 200 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. MARC now serves a population that requires support for basic needs.  We combat homelessness, provide food, transportation, clothing, therapy—all while encouraging independence.
