As I educated myself to learn more about human trafficking and it's unbelievable affect in our society, I knew I needed to join the fight. As a meeting professional, it is my duty to raise awareness and educate my peers to be vigilant in ensuring that our events are safe for all attendees, guests and bystanders, and that our community has the knowledge and resources necessary to fight this horrendous crime.

Human trafficking has no bounds - no race, gender, class or geographic location is exempt from these predators. Human Trafficking looks different now. The victims are getting younger and access to grooming is easier.

Let's fight for them. Let's help these victims turn into survivors and lead the life they deserve to have.
