This fundraiser is important to me as the funds help people with mental health challenges become Certified Peer Specialists, as well as, providing continuing education in the behavioral health field.  I am on a life long journey living with Bi-Polar, Depression and ADHD with daily efforts to manage myself in such a way that I can enjoy life and be successful in goals despite the challenges with staying healthy mentally.   I am a Certified Peer Specialist which is someone who provides education, coaching and encouragement to other peers to help face obstacles they are facing in living a life that they want despite their personal mental health challenges.
