Hello! My name is Courtney Shilling, and I am a nurse at Strawberry Fields. I have been with the organization for about two and a half years. I can honestly say that I love my job! My favorite part is working with and advocating for the individuals in our group homes. I feel as though my position within Strawberry Fields has been specifically made for me. I feel I have been sent here to advocate for our individuals, it is what I am best at. Ask any of my coworkers and I bet that they will tell you the same! I am the voice of the voiceless. I am not afraid to stand up for those who are unable to stand up for themselves. I will go above and beyond and will do anything in my power to make sure that our individuals are treated justly and fairly, no matter what it takes. Our individuals fight battles that we aren't aware of every single day. They helped inspire me to do this! I decided that every year that I am going to conquer one of my fears, and this is the perfect opportunity for just that!
