If you know me, you know my passion for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.  I spent almost 20 years in this field professional, currently serve as an advocate and President of the Board of Arc of High Point.  More recently, a family member has been diagnosed with autism and my professional passion became personal.   I serve and fundraise for The Arc because I believe in it's mission.  I believe everyone should be given the opportunity to learn, live, work and pursue their goals.  This is a basic human right that many people with disabilities are denied.  So, I fight today for all those I have worked with, for all those in my community, and for a better tomorrow for Drew!  

My Dad always taught me that EVERYONE has something to give. No matter where you came from or what you have.  Everyone can:

1) Give of their resources (networking and connecting people to support & money)

2) Give of their talents (sing, take pictures, art abilities, etc)

3) Give of their time (Volunteer)
