How do I Participate?
1. SIGN UP NOW to become an Participant.
2. Pay Registration Fee of $50 and the fee counts toward your fundraising goal.
3. Easily set up your personal fundraising page.
4. Reach the $1000 fundraising minimum! The first 100 participants to raise $1,000 will be selected to go Over The Edge.
5. Experience the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to rappel.
Requirements in order to participate:
1. Your weight must be between 100 lbs and 300 lbs for safety purposes in order to rappel.
2. Your temperature must be below 102 degrees on the day you go Over the Edge.
3. Please let us know if you have a pre-existing medical condition.
About the Event:
Welcome to an extraordinary event presented by Florida Crystals and hosted by Take Stock in Children Palm Beach County—Over the Edge! Get ready for a heart-pounding, adrenaline-pumping experience like no other, as brave individuals will rappel down the iconic Phillips Point in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. With stunning water views serving as the backdrop, participants will descend 188 feet, all in support of a great cause. As the action unfolds above, join us on the ground floor for a lively party filled with music, games, refreshments, and a vibrant community spirit. Together, let’s celebrate courage, community, and the commitment to empowering our youth. Thank you for being part of this unforgettable adventure!
Why we Need YOU!
All proceeds from this event will go towards purchasing college scholarships which is then matched 1:1 by the Florida Prepaid Foundation. This equates to double scholarships from the funds raised to support our mission: breaking the cycle of poverty for low-income, academically qualified students by providing opportunities for post-secondary education. Our commitment is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Please join us in our mission to create brighter futures and stronger communities!
About Take Stock in Children Palm Beach County:
Take Stock in Children Palm Beach County is nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of low-income and under-resourced students. We provide one-on-one mentoring, academic coaching, college readiness, and college retention strategies to ensure each student is positioned for success. Upon completion of the program, students are awarded college scholarships, giving them the financial means to pursue their dreams. By investing in our youth, we are investing in generations to come.
