ABOUT US:
At ProAction Cops & Kids, we bring cops and kids together in skill-building and mentoring programs to create trust, respect and safer communities. The skill-building aspect of many ProAction programs often leads to educational and career opportunities for the young participants.
We believe that engaging cops and kids together in health, pro-social activities creates positive relationships and builds a mutual respect and understanding that strengthens our community today and for the future. We often hear from past participants about how important and meaningful these programs are to them and how much their lives, along with the lives of their families and their communities have changed.
Since inception in 1991, ProAction has provided over $10.1 million in funding to reach over 443,000 young people through over 2,600 programs delivered in partnership with over 22,000 police officers across our six chapters: Toronto (1991), Durham (2007), Hamilton (2008), Halton (2018), Peel (2021) & London (launching in 2025).

***All participants under 18 must have signed consent and a parent or legal guardian must be onsite during your rappel***
