Together, we will step outside our comfort zones, rappel down a building, and do our part to support the programs and services that help the most vulnerable people in our communities.

We’re partnering with Over The Edge and St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation to bring urban rappelling back to Cornwall for the fourth year. It’s a bold way to support local programs and make a real impact in our community. Are you ready to take the first step?

If you don’t raise $1,000 by October 16, 2026, clients in our funded programs will still benefit from our hard work! All donations are final and refunds will not be issued if you do not meet the $1,000 fundraising goal required to go Over The Edge.

Requirements in order to participate:
- There is a weight minimum and maximum between 100 lbs and 300 lbs for safety purposes in order to rappel.
- There is no age restriction (people in their 80s and 90s have rappelled), but anyone under 18 requires a signature on a legal waiver from a parent or guardian to participate.
- You are willing to rappel down a 9 story building (nearly 100ft).
- No experience necessary! The Over the Edge team will provide training to help you rappel.
- There is a $75 fee to sign up. This counts towards the $1000 fundraising minimum to participate.

Rain or shine we will rappel! Our expert team leaders are on site to ensure a safe trip for everyone. In the chance of rain, we will still be going down! In the case of more severe weather, we will halt and re-assess for the safety of our rappelers.
