Hey everyone! I am going to jump off a perfectly good museum in September! Why would I do such a thing? Well first off, I will be attached to a rope system so I will be perfectly safe. But far more importantly it is to raise money for Camp Quality Kentuckiana, an organization that is very important to me.
Camp Quality is a camp for children who had or have cancer. When I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma I got limited on a lot of what I could do. I could barely go outside, could not swim, and had to stay away from a lot of people. At camp I was able to do so many amazing things like ziplining, archery, arts and crafts, a gigantic pie fight, and even rappelling! Now I have been going for 26 years of my life to camp, first as a camper and now as a volunteer because when I was a kid it was the best week of the year, and it continues to be the best week now that I am an adult. Every year I get to do some small part to help a kid truly be a kid again.
Any donation you can make will be incredibly appreciated. Everything at camp is free for the children who attend and that is solely because of the incredible people who donate time and money to make it happen. So please, anything that you can spare will be very helpful to make sure that these children are able to truly be a kid again.

ABOUT the Camp Quality Kentuckiana:
Camp Quality Kentuckiana is not in the business of finding a cure for cancer, but we are in the business of ensuring that every child who has been diagnosed with cancer can not only have a summer camp experience, but year-round programs to enhance their quality of life and encourage quality family time. At no cost, we provide these opportunities to children from Kentucky and southern Indiana who have cancer. The kids we serve, range between 5-17 years of age and are in various stages of their treatment. Outside of our week-long summer camp, we also provide different events throughout the year. The mission of Camp Quality is to allow children with cancer, under close supervision, exposure to the many activities that healthy children enjoy on a normal basis. Our camp and year round activities, allows families of the children to have some time away from the normal stress and demands of caring for a child dealing with cancer.
