About ProAction Cops & Kids:
At ProAction Cops & Kids, we bring cops and
kids together in skill-building and mentoring programs to create
trust, respect and safer communities.
We believe that engaging cops and kids together
in health, pro-social activities creates positive relationships and
builds a mutual respect and understanding that strengthens our
community today and for the future. The skill-building aspect of
many ProAction programs often leads to educational and career
opportunities for the young participants.
Since inception in 1991, ProAction has provided over $10.7 million in funding to reach more than 454,000 young people through over 2,800 programs delivered in partnership with more than 23,000 police officers across our six chapters: Toronto (1991), Durham Region (2007), Hamilton (2008), Halton Region (2018), Peel Region (2021) and London (2025).
How Do Your Donations Help?
- $50 helps us provide program participants with awards
- $100 helps us provide transportation for our programs (e.g. gas, bus rentals)
- $250 helps us provide food and drinks to our program participants
- $500 helps us provide program equipment
- $1000 helps us with program facility rentals
