I'm Rob Rice and i live in Tupelo, MS, home of Elvis. I don’t like heights that much.
My daughter-in-law Meg Rice (who serves on the board of the YW) invited me to help her raise at least $1500 for a wonderful program in Bristol, TN, that benefits young women in her area who need some help. She asked me to recruit support from friends and family.
Here’s how your gift helps- The YWCA provides an after-school program for at-risk young ladies in 4th through 8th grades (I met one such young lady3 weeks ago in Bristol and was deeply impressed by her and her experience in this program.) “YW” also has a program to support teen mothers. The YWCA provides the region's only sliding scale child care program, and the YW has kept its child care facilities open throughout the covid-19 pandemic.
