One small act of kindness can help infuse a Community with ideas, compassion, strenghth and inclusion. It helps to provide purpose and a sense of culture.
Living in the Dubuque Area and working for a non-profit I have not only learned but felt how small acts can make a HUGE Impact.
The Dubuque Community is amazing. The support, prayers and love that people are willing to give is inspirational and has restored my faith in humanity.
Working for a Non-Profit has helped me see to provide clarity for what I want for myself, my family and my Community. It has opened my eyes and helped me realize small acts can make a big impact.
I'm alwasy striving to be a better version of myself than I was the day before. It helps me to be more mindful and thoughtful of my actions and words and how they can impact others. I love to have fun and be more on the silly and playful side with people. Not only can I "Dish" it but I can "Take" it.
Working at the Dubuque YMCA has put me front and center with the Community. I have been able to meet so many new people and befriend many more. I look forward everyday to coming to work and greeting our Commuity and hearing about things goin on.
Over the Edge is a simple, but fun way for me to reach out to the Community to help work raise funds for a great Partner Non-Profit UNITED WAY! Money donated stays within our Community and help Family, Friends and Neighbors. Please help me to support our Community by donating to the cause and making an impact.
