WHAT: Register for a peer-to-peer fundraiser to rappel Over The Edge of a 6-story wall at Huntington Bank Field.  Invite your friends to watch and take part in a fun Landing Party with food, music, games, a kids' area and more!

Adoption, foster care, and kinship care impact people in many different ways. Those experiences often come with complex emotions, unanswered questions, and a need for connection. At Adoption Network Cleveland, we walk alongside individuals and families at every stage of that journey. Whether you're an adult adoptee, birth parent or birth family member, adoptive, kinship, or foster caregiver, youth in foster care, foster alum, or a professional working in the field, you belong in this community.

We believe that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. That's why we offer trusted guidance through search and reunion, space for healing through peer-led support groups, education that empowers, and advocacy that drives systemic change. We've also expanded our work to support those who are donor conceived or have experienced misattributed parentage—because the core of our mission has always been about helping people find answers, identity, and belonging. 

But...the need is greater than ever, and many still face barriers to support. That's where you come in!

By participating in Over The Edge, you're doing something bold and deeply meaningful. Your involvement helps create space for a birth parent to feel understood and supported, for an adoptee to explore their identity with care and community, and for a young person transitioning out of foster care to know they're not alone. Every dollar you raise helps provide connection, guidance, and hope to individuals and families.

How do I participate?

1. SIGN UP NOW to become a Individual Participant or create a Team.
2. Easily set up your personal/team fundraising page. OverThe Edge is a peer-to-peer fundraising event.  Send your link to your friends, family and co-workers asking them to support you to go Over The Edge.  Teams can send any members Over The Edge per $1,000 raised by their Team.  For instance, if your team raised $3,000, 3 people can rappel.
3. Reach the $1000 fundraising minimum by August 24, 2025, to secure your rappel spot and claim your t-shirt! Your $50 registration fee counts toward your goal and is non-refundable. 
4. Ask for fundraising tips! Reach out to our staff for fundraising tips and ideas in order to meet the minimum to secure a rappel spot and your t-shirt.  Simply email Patricia at patricia.hughes@adoptionnetwork.org!(Note: Registrants who have not fundraised beyond the $50 registration fee by August 1, 2025, are not guaranteed a rappel spot)
