This September, during National Recovery Month, The Peer Company invites you to step beyond what you thought possible by rappelling down a downtown Portland building to support something even bigger than the 15-story climb.
Recovery Rush is more than an adrenaline-filled challenge —it's an opportunity to help families rebuild their lives.
Together, we're raising $100,000 to help 31 families move from instability to home. Your support will help welcome the first residents into The Peer Company's new Permanent Supportive Housing community in Portland's Lents neighborhood.

Families facing mental health challenges, substance use recovery, and housing instability deserve more than four walls —they deserve a community that believes in them.
Our Permanent Supportive Housing community will provide affordable homes where families can heal together while receiving ongoing peer support from specialists who understand recovery because they've lived it themselves.

A HOME MADE RECOVERY POSSIBLE After months of instability, one mother connected with a Peer Support Specialist while experiencing homelessness with her child. Together they secured identification, connected to treatment, found housing resources, and rebuilt home one step at a time. Today she has stable housing, employment, visits with her son, and a recovery community surrounding her. Imagine what becomes possible when families begin with permanent housing.
| RECOVERY HAPPENS TOGETHER One participant entered treatment after a Peer Support Specialist helped locate an available bed within 24 hours. Today they remain engaged in recovery, attend meetings, volunteer in their community, and have reconnected with family. Recovery is stronger when someone walks beside you.
| A FRESH START Another community member experiencing homelessness found employment with support from a Peer Support Specialist. That first paycheck meant a phone reconnected, personal belongings secured, and a safer place to sleep. Small victories become life-changing milestones when someone believes in you.

HOW RECOVERY RUSH WORKS
Participating is simple. Whether you're rappelling or cheering from the ground, there's a role for everyone.
- Register or donate. Sign up as a rappelling team or as an individual. You can also support through donations to those rappelling. Every dollar raised helps families recover together.
- Share your story. Build your fundraising page and tell people why you're going Over the Edge. When people connect with your "why," they'll invest in something much bigger than a rappel.
- Feel the rush. Join us in downtown Portland during National Recovery Month. Step over the edge. Celebrate courage. Change lives.
