Hi!  My name is Lisa McLendon and I am facing my biggest fear - HEIGHTS!  Why am I doing this?  Because the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Georgia (BGCCG) offers world class after school and summer programming to kids who need us the most!

Our news is filled with what is wrong with our area, high crime, etc.  But our the kids at the Boys & Girls Clubs are what is right with our youth!  I KNOW this!  I have been involve with BGCCG as an employee and volunteer  and have seen up close an personal the good that they do.  Did you know that 100% of all Seniors who are club kids graduated from high school and enrolled in post-secondary education or enlisted? 87% of club kids make A' and B's on their report cards?  And 80% participate in a community service project?  

BGCCG offers a "Place to Become"  Over the last decade, BGCCG Club Kids have gone onto to become doctors, federal marshals, teachers, and even an orchestra conductor! 

This is why I am doing this!  To help provide much needed funding to continue the good work!

So break open the piggy bank and help me raise some cash to keep these wonderful Blue Doors Open to all!

I'm going to rappel down the Dempsey Apartments, in exchange for donations back to the amazing local non-profit organization, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Georgia.
