Kaitlyn Smoke hasn't added a story.
Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Smoke, and I am going Over the Edge for Children's Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent. I am currently a fourth-year Linguistics student at Glendon College, York University, with aspirations of pursuing graduate studies in Speech Language Pathology.
I support the CTC-CK because I have seen their impact firsthand. My sister used their services throughout her childhood, and as her sister I had the joy of participating in their programs like Sib Shops. I have also volunteered with the CTC-CK in a variety of their programs, including sledge hockey, dance, blacklight theatre, baseball, and within their speech department. I have also done fundraisers for the CTC-CK in the past, through their own platforms or on my own time. Most recently, I did the 24-Hour "Voiceless But Still Talking" Campaign, where I chose to only use an alternative communication device to communicate for 24 hours straight. I ended up raising $585 for their speech department. All these experiences have truly allowed me to see how the CTC-CK helps individuals, families and our community.
All the services provided by the CTC-CK help the children they serve reach their fullest potential, and become the best version of themselves. I strongly believe in supporting this amazing organization, especially in this time where they are aiming towards building the "Butterfly Building", which will allow them to have an even greater impact on our community.
Help me support the CTC-CK... and you will get to see me Go Over The Edge on June 20th! I can't wait to see our community come together and raise for an amazing cause. Thank you in advance for your support ♡
I'm going to rappel down the Holiday Inn Express of Chatham-Kent, in exchange for donations back to Children's Treatment Center Foundation of Chatham-Kent, ON.
EVENT DATE: June 20th, 2020
