I am going Over the Edge! On September 17th at 1 PM, to celebrate the 5-year anniversary of “Just One Dash”, I will rappel 170 feet down the side of the beautiful Westin Hotel in Itasca. Standing 12 stories tall, I will venture onto the roof of the Westin Chicago Northwest and start my descent which promises to be terrifying and (hopefully) fun!! Our goal is to raise funds to continue to support our current families and hopefully be able to take on additional families.
Pictures and videos will be posted after the event to let you know how I did!! “Just One Dash” is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization. 100% of funds that Just One Dash receives will go towards our families.
Our mission is to forge relationships that will make a difference in someone's life and change their narrative. We provide resources on their chosen path to a successful, happy, and full life. We primarily work with families with young children on the West Side of Chicago in the East Garfield Park area. We connect and support their educational and vocational goals. We meet with each family on a regular basis and fulfill each household’s unique wish list of essential household goods and toiletries.
