I am participating in Over the Edge with ACCT International in February 2026, in Oklahoma City because I believe deeply that the power of adventure can create meaningful change. Because I grew up in rural Texas with daily access to the outdoors and adventure, I understand how formative those experiences can be and I’m committed to helping create those same opportunities for people who don't have the access I did.
Every day, young people across Chicago navigate personal mazes and systemic obstacles in search of wellness, and Chicago Adventure Therapy (CAT) seeks to create pockets of peace where leadership, joy, and belonging can take root. Whether it’s a weekend adventure that sparks a new path, a conference experience that reshapes how a young person sees themselves, or a moment in nature that unlocks confidence, curiosity, and connection, these transformations begin small—but they grow, ripple outward, and become something bigger than any one moment or community. $500 minimum is required for an organization to receive 50% of total funds raised minus the processing fee. You can still rappel even if you don't reach $500, but the organization will not receive a donation. Minimum needed to rappel is $250.
