- Safeguard the water resources, ecological integrity, biodiversity, and the cultural and scenic resources of the New Jersey Highlands.
- Promote capacity-based planning and protective water policies throughout the 88 municipalities of the Highlands region.
- Educate decision makers and the public statewide about the importance of the Highlands to our economic stability and quality of life
- Create formidable partnerships and alliances to strengthen our advocacy to protect, preserve and enhance the New Jersey Highlands’ natural and cultural resources

This Earth Day Weekend the New Jersey Highlands Coalition is going Over The Edge to make Every. Drop. Count. The Coalition works tirelessly to protect safe, clean drinking water for 6.2 million people all over New Jersey who rely on Highlands water daily. Conservation efforts within the Highlands region and beyond are critical to ensure a sustainable supply of healthy drinking water for ourselves and future generations.
Each donation protects precious water resources, preserves forests and farmland, mitigates climate change, and empowers grassroot conservation efforts at the community level.
Our bold rappelers have each committed to raise a $1,000 or more because they believe in this important cause. Each donation brings a dedicated Highland Coalition friend closer to the amazing experience of going Over The Edge.
