I'm Caeden. I am a middle school student who enjoys adventure and am active in Boy Scouts and cross country and track. When my mom asked if I wanted to do Over the Edge, after my dad did it last year, I was really unsure. But during the summer, I went on a high adventure trip to Colorado where we did some climbing and rappelling and that got me interested in Over the Edge. When I talked to my mom more about the event and how the Alzheimer's Alliance will use the money raised to support Alzheimer's patients in our area that made me want to do it even more. My great grandmother had Alzheimer's disease. She passed away three months before I was born, but I have read on how Alzheimer's affects people. It makes me sad to think that someone in our family went through that. When she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, several of our family members became involved with the Alzheimer's Alliance in Texarkana. The AA was essential to her care and the care of many other Alzheimer's patients in Texarkana. It is an awesome organization and I'm proud to be a part of this fundraiser. I've set my goal to $1000 and am hoping that you will donate. Any amount toward my goal (and beyond) is greatly appreciated!

I'm going to rappel down A&M University, in exchange for donations back to the amazing local non-profit organizations, Alzheimer's Alliance Tri-State.
