I have been a Boys & Girls Club staff for 4 years now. I am so proud of being apart of the organization. I am proud to represent the club with its mission and key values. Donating to Boys & Girls Club means that you are supporting: Art Club a time for kids to be creative and make art on their own time. Construction Zone, a time for members to build with Legos or magnet tiles or much more. Sports club, where we learn new games and how to play them and having enough equipment for everyone. Money also goes toward scholarships for members!

The Club is another place for kids to go that isn't school because sometimes we all need another place to feel safe. I have had some of the most amazing leaders in my BGC time that have helped me grow as a group leader. Having supportive relationships with the kids and my peers has been so amazing I am so thankful.

We talk about PRIDE+1, meaning that our values are positive role models, respect, integrity, diversity, empathy and our own personal one. Mine is patience, I have tried my best to bring patience into program. We love encouraging the kids to have their own plus one too!

Help me go over the edge by reaching my goal!

I'm going to rappel down the 888 Lofts, in exchange for donations back to the amazing local non-profit organization, Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence.
