That’s why we’re proud to stand with Senior Services for South Sound for their thrilling fundraising event, “Do You Have What It Takes to Go Over the Edge?” on June 28, 2025 at Huntamer Park in Lacey, WA.
This isn’t just about rappelling down a building (although we’ll be doing that too!). It’s about raising $1,000 to directly support the independence, dignity, and well-being of local seniors — ensuring they have access to meals, activities, social connection, and the compassionate support they deserve.
We believe that every senior deserves to age with confidence and community, and we’re stepping up — literally — to prove it.

Senior Services for South Sound has been dedicated to supporting seniors in our community for more than 50 years. We operate senior centers in Olympia and Lacey that provide programs, services and activities for ALL seniors, those who are thriving and those who need a helping hand. Each year, we feed thousands of seniors through community dining and Meals on Wheels. We envision a South Sound where people are empowered and engaged in the community as they age, valued for their wisdom and experience, and have a positive sense of self-worth.
