Frankenmuth Insurance has been supporting the United Way of Saginaw County for almost 30 years. And with history like that, we’ve seen a lot of creative new ideas to propel the United Way forward in providing solutions to the communities’ toughest problems. So, when the opportunity presented itself to join in the fun with Over the Edge, we couldn’t say no. We are excited to have 4 brave employees representing our organization in this event and bringing life to our own history of neighbor helping neighbor. This is another great example of people, organizations and communities coming together around a common cause, a common vision, and a common path forward.
We support this worthy cause as the United Way continues to be the cornerstone of education, financial stability and health, bringing people together from all walks of life to be a part of local solutions. I'm going to rappel down Covenant Health Care's Mackinaw Campus, in exchange for donations back to the amazing local non-profit organization, United Way of Saginaw County.

The United Way of Saginaw County is a volunteer-directed nonprofit operated by a trained staff. The United Way connects funding to important programming in the areas of health, education, and financial stability. But we are more than just fundraisers. We fight for those who do not have a voice.
The United Way makes it easy to give to all the causes that matter within a community. We rely on numerous small donations to create meaningful change in the areas of Health, Education, and Financial Stability. We ensure that all money donated to us is used in the most efficient and effective manner. United Way volunteers investigate the needs within our community and ensure United Way dollars are distributed to programs that work to address core issues within the community. By giving, advocating, and volunteering, we can all work towards achieving the vision of a vibrant Saginaw County community where all families can thrive. We have one life.
