Every day, families and young people in the Tri-States face the overwhelming challenge of generational poverty. Many local youth lack access to hands-on career guidance, essential skills training, or the technology needed to break into reliable, high-paying careers in the skilled trades.

Through our partnership with the United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States, we are working to bridge that gap. By providing local youth with early access to technology, trade exploration, and connections to local employers, we give them the tools to earn livable wages and build a secure, thriving future right here in our community.

3. The Gap Standing in the Way

The biggest barrier is access and funding. Programs that offer hands-on training, mentorship, and vital community safety-net resources require continuous financial support to reach every young person who needs them. Without community investment, these doors remain shut for too many local families.
